In Quebec, L’OEUVRE LÉGER supports the efforts of community groups thats help the most vulnerable abd needy in our society : families in hardship, the isolated elderly, and street youth. It supports projects aimed at prevention, education, the development of individual and social skills, ans the promotion of mutual assistance and solidarity.
In 14 countries throughout Africa, Latin America and Asia, L’OEUVRE LÉGER is working closely with various organizations-village and urban communities, co-ops, groups, associations, local federations- to make them stakeholders of decisions. Those organizations set priorities among their communities’ ost pressing needs, propose solutions, and get involved according to their means abd skills. This approach fosters greater responsibility and involvement in development projects and makes it possibl to reach the desired results.
