Gift of life insurance

Help alleviate human misery:

Make a gift of life insurance.

  • Give an existing life insurance policy
Transfer the property of the policy, making L’ŒUVRE LÉGER the irrevocable beneficiary. You will receive a tax receipt for any insurance premiums you pay thereafter and for the market value of the policy, plus the interests and other accumulated dividends.
  • Buy a new life insurance policy
Make L’ŒUVRE LÉGER the beneficiary of a new policy. You will receive a tax receipt for each annual insurance premium paid. Upon your death, L’ŒUVRE LÉGER will receive much more than the total amount of the premiums paid over the years, therefore leveraging your gift.
  • Make L’ŒUVRE LÉGER the beneficiary of the death benefit
You retain ownership of the policy. You do not get a tax receipt for the premiums paid. Only upon your death will a tax receipt be issued for the death benefit, enabling your estate to benefit from major savings in income tax.
  • Protect your heirs
Make a bequest to L’ŒUVRE LÉGER equal to the death benefit of your life insurance policy. Upon your death, a tax receipt will be issued for the amount of your bequest and your heirs will inherit the death benefit. Both your loved ones and L’ŒUVRE LÉGER will receive a lot.
